On behalf of one of our clients, an international financial institution, located in Luxembourg, we are searching for external support (f/m) with skills and abilities as stated below:
Functional Business tester (f/m) financial area Luxembourg
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Understanding the clearing and settlement business, preparation and execution of the Business Acceptance Testing and
Operability Testing in order to ensure that the new, modified functions, services meet the business or systems specifications as defined and agreed.
Provide input, and support the business readiness stream.
Qualification & Skills
Basic knowledge of financial products (bonds and equities)
Swift knowledge
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently
Good communication skills
Prior experience in testing activities and knowledge of the Quality Center tool
Good practice of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Written and spoken English mandatory
Detailed Process Description
Preparation
Analyse/understand the System Requirement Analysis (SRA) and or System Design
Specifications (SDS) documentation
Based on the requirements/specifications of new functionalities, prepare the Business
Acceptance Criteria (BACs) and related scenarios
The business acceptance and operability test preparation is the key for the successful and timely completion of the Business testing.
Perform/execute
Execute the BACs (input test scenarios, instructions, etc.)
Document the test results
Issue resolution
Raise issues encountered by using the issue tracking tool as requested by the project
Contribute actively to the issue resolution by indicating the observation made
Document the issue and the solution within the tool or any database as requested by the
project team.
Testing close down
Contribute as requested to the project close down report.
Other Information
Working hours
Working Hours: start usually 08:30
Overtime Work: sometimes required
Working on week-end for Real Time/operability testing will be required.
