RCA (Root Cause Analysis) Analyst required for leading global Insurance company.

The organisation intends to set up a Central RCA team, but it is not yet clear exactly what the scope and scale of the RCA team needs to be. The plan is to initiate a short project to facilitate and enable these elements to be clearly defined. This role will provide a lead for that project and insights and recommendations from someone with subject matter expertise and experience.

Daily rate - up to £700 per day for a 6 month rolling contract

The role holder will be accountable for:
*Defining the approach for the pilot and running it
*Producing a document that sets out the findings from the pilot and recommendations for how RCA should be undertaken.
*Ensuring data captured during the pilot is analysed and systemic causes are identified
*Producing a RCA training pack for the project members and use within the wider business
*Producing a target operating model for RCA and securing approval for it from relevant stakeholders
*Producing a plan for implementing the changes required in order to put the target operating model in place

Experience Required:
*Significant experience of working within a RCA team and/or performing root cause analysis
*Experience of producing a target operating model
*Experience of project delivery
*Working knowledge of what a RCA framework needs to contain
*Working knowledge of different approaches for how RCA can be undertaken and where responsibilities for RCA can be placed within businesses - and the pros and cons of each
*Knowledge of how to categorise, analyse and report RCA data
