Roc Search's Client is currently recruiting for a number of Functional Testers for a global organisation based in Copenhagen on an initial 6 month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the ideal candidate to have a long term contract with a very reputable client of mine.
Responsibilities:
*Comply with the system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodology (PMLC) - including development of project plans, documentation of system requirements, estimates of scope and cost, testing etc.
*Manage/Oversee and/or participate in testing analysis and coordination; manage/coordinate the Defect resolution process
*Support/Develop sound business cases with an on-going focus on reusability, scalability, innovation, and enterprise-wide solutions
*Provide subject matter expertise on specific application usage or area of knowledge
*Ensure all testing, quality assurance and post-implementation reviews are conducted against critical success factors, per the project plan and objectives
*Work effectively as a team, supporting other team members in achieving project/business objectives and providing client services
*Act as an integrator of solutions, provide flexibility, and ensure a good understanding of technology choices by offering and negotiating options with the clients
Expert Knowledge:
*Advanced technical knowledge, analytical skills and strong working knowledge of applications supported
*Advanced knowledge of testing, software development life cycle, defect tracking systems
*Experience with derivative products and pricing (Credit and interest rate derivative, Options experience preferred)
*Knowledge of Derivative workflow from pricing to payments
*Motivated and responsible team player, able to perform in dynamic, fast paced environment
*Strong Excel, VBA and Database/SQL skills
*Knowledge of architecture for technology, tools, processes, and procedures, as well as broader organization issues and technology
*Experience working with Front Office is preferred
