IT Security Project Manager

CONTEXT
The Joiners/Movers/Leavers (JML) Program was set up to deliver tactical and strategic JML process enhancements, with expected productivity benefits .
The program is currently in ramp up phase and offers the potential candidate with the exciting opportunity to help shape and drive the cross-functional, global initiative from the offset, reporting to the overall program manager.

This program is co-sponsored by the CIO and the Head of HR.

We are looking for a strong candidate based in Zurich with previous experience as a project manager, ideally within projects/programs focusing on JML processes or parts thereof (e.g. resource on/off boarding processes, Smart card provisioning, entitlements management, access control, IT Asset management processes etc).

MISSION
- Define, track and push delivery of work packages to deliver on JML process enhancement initiative comprising multiple parallel projects. Deliveries will include technical aspects together with process changes which must be sustainable with appropriate service structures, SLAs, governance and training.
- Organize and lead the project and the team (i.e. plans and manages allocated resources, shapes priorities, coordinates interactions with customers and users and keeps the project team focused) on mandate of the Program Manager
- Manage relationship with all project stakeholders (CIO function, Business, BSM, Interface partners, etc.)
- Provide the project plan and update it as needed (deadlines, milestones, delivery, requested and planned resources etc.)
- Schedule and manage the project according to the project management plan and ensure all relevant project deliveries during all phases
- Ensure all necessary sign-offs according to the guidelines and perform all relevant reviews

PROFILE
- Candidate must be able to drive the project forward in an assertive and independent manner in the face of stakeholder resistance, organisational complexity and technical risks and issues
- Solid experience in the management of large and complex projects, if possible with information security background and a flair for technical/infrastructure questions
- Strong stakeholder management and communications skills are essential in English and German ideally. Project requires political finesse with many stakeholders, many of whom are senior
- Strong documentation and presentation skills using tools such as MS Powerpoint
- Good understanding of process design and implementation including good knowledge of and experience with JML processes is a distinct advantage
- Projects must be managed transparently and according to our project management framework with particular emphasis on the processes and seamless integration into the ************ technical assets.
- PMP or other project management certification and experience of RUP are both distinct advantages
- A self-starter who is able to use their own initiative and drive key deliverable
- Experience in running formal SDLC projects as well as the tracking and completion of related work
