Interim Contracts ManagerMy client, a forward thinking NHS organisation in London are looking for an immediately available Contract Manager to focus on the Acute Contracts.
My client has a fantastic reputation & they are looking to move away from contracting as a technical, back room function to seeing contracting as a fundamental part of driving transformation. The Contract Manager will be fundamental in driving this forward.
Reporting to the Head of Contracts the Contract Manager will be responsible for:
- Establishing & leading negotiation processes
- Organising & conducting contract cycle meeting
- Ensure co-ordination of agreements between commissioners & providers
- Explaining the negotiation positions to board members
- Managing complex stakeholder relationships
Contract Manager Requirements:
- Evidence of substantial senior/middle management experience in NHS contracts roles
- Proven experience in commissioning/SLA management
- Knowledge of current NHS policy
- Experience of the use of the NHS National Standard Contract
- Knowledge of service delivery in acute healthcare sector Attention to detail and accuracy
- Influencing and negotiation skills
- Payment by Results knowledge
- Excellent leadership skills
