SAP Infrastructure Manager/Service Delivery Manager

Duration:Minimum 6 month contract - plus extensions
Job Profile:
Responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of SAP infrastructure change initiatives through planning, prioritization, financial management and communicating to the main stakeholders on progress against key outcomes (time, scope, quality, value and service level agreements).
Accountabilities
*Support the SAP Technical Manager in setting strategies for service delivery that support the strategic needs of the organization.
*Define scope of the project, deliverables and detailed planning and schedule in agreement with IT strategy and business needs.
*Ensures that regular progress reports are produced for key stakeholders in agreed formats and as required
*Coordinate the IT activities (infrastructure, development, interfaces, system design, testing, data load, ) related to the SAP change initiatives that will be delivered by/together with the regional Centre-of-Excellence (IT Supply); eg SAP Archiving project, SAP Data Refresh tools and coordination, SAP Technical Upgrade
*Proactively manage changes in the project scope, identify potential issues and define contingency plans and mitigations
*Oversee approved project budgets to ensure timely reporting against plan.
*Ensure smooth transition from project to service delivery
*Ensure alignment between the release plan and the project implementation and play an active role in it.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
*Program and project management to recognised standards eg PMI or equivalent
*Strong result driven attitude
*Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, science or a related study, or equivalent experience
*Understanding of SAP Functions (HR, Finance, Procurement, Support, Development)
*Understanding of SAP Components and their relationship to each other (ERP, BW, PI, SRM, Portal, Industry Solutions)
*Capacity to think out of the box and to generate solutions
*Ability to deal with ambiguity within a changing environment and experience within a Matrix organizational structure
*Strong written and oral communication skills, combined with strong interpersonal skills
*Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
*Excellent technical architecture and technical support documentation skills
*Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
*High integrity, work ethics and commitment
*Fluency in English language, Ideally Dutch or French speaking
