Description
An exciting opportunity is available in Stockholm/Sweden, starting in January, for a Sharepoint Developer.
The objective of this assignment is to support the maintenance and development of the Document Management System.
We are looking for candidates experienced with the following tasks:
- Configuration, development, testing and maintenance of the Document Management System
- Research, document, and implement requirements and specifications in collaboration with the DMS team
- Contribution in planning and architecting solutions
- Perform data migration tasks
- Be responsible for documentation as required to ensure project and technical standards are maintained
- Analyse test results for the purpose of correcting mistakes, bug fixing, isolating areas for improvement, and debugging
- Identify the cause of problems, document, and develop an immediate, short-term, and/or long-term solution
- Create deployment packages, guidelines, documentation and contribute in deployments to testing/production environments
- Store up to date project sources and documentation in the company's Team Foundation Server
- Provide 3rd Line Support
- Ensure that the DMS works seamlessly with Intranet, Enterprise Search and uses the right Terminology Services resources properly with emphasis on proper metadata management
- Takes part in implementation of Records Management and Workflow functionalities for DMS.
Qualifications and experience required
The requested candidate should have experience with:
- System maintenance, further development and refactoring of existing systems
- Application development using SharePoint
- .Net technologies (technologies: C#, .NET 3.5 or higher, WCF, and LINQ, as well as T-SQL and MS SQL 2008R2/2012
- Migration/upgrade projects from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013, including data migration
- Unit testing in SharePoint.
Beneficial knowledge:
JavaScript, AJAX, XML, XSLT, HTML/XHTML and CSS, Visual Studio , SharePoint Designer, Team Foundation Server, MS SQL Management Studio/MS SQL Profiler, RedGate SQL Compare and RedGate SQL Data Compare
