I am currently working with a client who Supply, Design, Build, Install and Commission Automated Control Systems. They are an accredited automation contractor to many of the major manufacturing companies currently operating in the area and throughout the UK.They are actively recruiting for a Control System Engineer
Location: North west
Contract length: 4 months (initially)
Start date: ASAP
ROLE:
To ensure the smooth and efficient implementation of each allocated project, with projects being professionally designed and engineered, within budget hours and to our/customer quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the engineering of individual projects
Testing and Commissioning (Including commissioning abroad)
Preparation of related documents, i.e. FDS, FAT & SAT
Preparation of PLC/HMI/SCADA software
Requirements:
Minimum experience - 5 years
Reasonable knowledge of Food, Beverage, Chemical and Logistics Process/production systems
In-depth knowledge of PLC systems, programming in Ladder, Statement List and Flow Chart
Rockwell Automation, RSLogix, SLC
Siemens, S7-200, S7-1200, S
Mitsubishi, A Series, Q Series
In-depth knowledge of SCADA systems, including scripting, Databases, networking & historian
Rockwell FTView
Siemens WinCC
Wonderware InTouch
In-depth knowledge of Networked systems
Rockwell DeviceNet, ControlNet, Ethernet
Siemens Profibus, ASi,
Mitsubishi CCLink
Preferred Knowledge of S88 Batching Systems
Rockwell FTBatch
Wonderware InBatch
