Senior Developer Perl/SQL - CONTRACT
As part of a new global enterprise migration our client is seeking experienced Perl/SQL Developers.
Working for a renowned financial house this role will see you develop global solutions for use within the investment banking domain, whilst also giving you exposure to top technologists and product managers across Asia, in an agile environment.
Initially on a six month contract but the programme of work is for 2+ years.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop advanced Perl/SQL scripts
- Act as a key point of contact between product, data and technology teams
- Ability to adapt to a Murex environment fast.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Significant hands on experience in Scripting in Perl, SQL.
- A strong functional understanding of the investment banking industry.
- Solid ability to work with geographically diverse teams
- Strong positive attitude
- A creative and dynamic approach to problem solving
- Exposure to Murex would be an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- A significant proven track record in delivering support within a very high pressured financial markets environment
