We are recruiting for Service Desk Administrator based in the Northampton area working for a global IT Services Company on an initial 6 month contract paying £14 per hour.

Skills and Experience:

  • Service Desk and/or Helpdesk experience (not IT Helpdesk)
  • Sales Administration within a corporate environment
  • Requirement gathering and data compiling
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Order processing

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as one of the initial contact in the office for all problems and information questions from the Service Desk team by answering incoming calls and providing immediate resolution, as possible, while forwarding any issues to the appropriate source
  • Receives, coordinates and tracks all deliverables from the sales personnel by ensuring each deliverable is filed appropriately and notifying the Service Management team when information is missing
  • Prepares and processes incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Coordinates the preparation of monthly calendars, mileage reports, expenses and travel itineraries for the Sales Office.
  • Assists the Management team with data inputting and report analysis
  • Coordinates information to be used by the Service Desk team in customer account business reviews, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Documents system problems and works to resolve and prevent them
  • Reports progress in meeting service level agreements
  • Assists in the creation and implementation of system administration and maintenance procedures
