Campaign Manager - CRM - E-mail Campaign - Inxmail - Responsys - Exact Target - Excel

Our well known Blue Chip Digital Media client requires a Campaign Manager to be responsible for all aspects of e-mail management, development and support for the business user community across the company. Presently the user base is approximately 60 users generating 80+ regular newsletter mailings, using Inxmail (E-mail Service Provider). The role falls in to three areas, 50% of the role will be like first line support for Inxmail to users, troubleshooting, helping with user setup etc. 25% will be developing the capability of the tool, advising and developing best practise and the integration of e-mail marketing with the wider marketing strategy. The final 25% will be administrative, looking at billing and tracking & reporting on campaign performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide e-mail marketing advice that complements a broader engagement strategy, including testing and targeting strategies
  • Manage internal billing for e-mail campaigns
  • Set up new users, password resets, problem resolution
  • Work with the programme team to support the develop the potential of personalisation within the e-mail channel
  • Monitor ESP system performance, liaison with suppliers on contractual matters, billing reconciliation etc.
  • Liaising with suppliers to deliver system changes
  • Change Management
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand new requirements for e-mail support and specify change requests to cost and prioritise changes

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proven professional Campaign Management experience within a large complex organisation
  • Hands-on working knowledge of e-mail campaign management systems eg Inxmail, Responsys, Exact Target etc.
  • Strong analytics skills, including Excel and basic HTML
  • Strong understanding of e-mail marketing and CRM
  • Experience in forecasting & budgetary controls
  • Significant communication & influencing skills (verbal, written, listening)
