Type: 8 month daily rate contract
A state body based in D4 requires an experience System / Network Administrator to join their growing infrastructure team. There are several roll out happening over the the next 8 months so a experience around Exchange and VMWare.
You are required to have experience in the follow ing areas:
Essential Qualities:
· Proven experience implementing IT solutions
· Client facing experience
· Great time management
· Ability to work under pressure and under their own initiative without supervision
· Excellent documentation skills
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Project management experience (Not essential)
Must have:
· Active Directory )
· Microsoft Server R2)
· Exchange Server )
· RDS Services R2)
· Mobile Device Configurations
· Desktop OS & Office Applications (Windows 7 & Windows 8, Office )
· Firewall's and Routing (VPN tunnels, remote access vpn's)
· Web Filtering and Spam Filtering Solutions
· Anti-virus Solutions
· Backup Solutions (File archive and image based solutions)
Advantages:
· Virtualisation technologies, preferably:
VMware ESX
Storage Devices (SAN - DAS, iSCSI, Fibre)
Virtualisation backup solutions
