Tasks:

Control the service levels agreed upon by:

Defining the performance indicators and reviewing regularly

Guaranteeing resolution targets are met in a qualitative way

Proposing monitoring improvements and drive the enhancements

Challenging any service level degradation with supplier mgt

Steer the initiatives to improve efficiency by:

Driving the creation of root-cause analysis and other TQM tools

Leading taskforces to define action plans

Prioritizing the improvement proposals for action ability

Planning the roll out of the changes for minimal service interruptions

Description:

  • Together with the team you are responsible for the operational readiness of the Company's cloud infrastructure, applications and services.
  • It is of major importance that you take ownership of incidents and problems and that you take care of all actions necessary to solve them.
  • You will execute operational activities like planned works, follow-up of incidents, etc.
  • You are pro-active in the search for improvements concerning the procedures and applications used for our cloud services.
    You're able to analyse possible improvements, work them out and when needed to follow up their implementation by means of an internal team project.
  • Together with your colleagues you will take care of the daily management of the applications running on our cloud infrastructure
  • You will document operational procedures, tips & tricks, checklists and FAQ's.
  • You will participate in a guard duty to provide second line support on a 24/7 basis.

Skills:

  • You're interested to work in an operational environment (escalations, on-call guard duty, planned works during nights and weekends).
  • You are an all-round IT professional.
  • Ambiguity is not a problem for you.
  • You are flexible and able to adapt you continuously to the fast changing Cloud domain.
  • You have good coordination & reporting skills.
  • You are resistant to stress.
  • You are a team player but able to work independently.
  • You have good communication skills (written & spoken).
