We are currently recruiting for one of our clients who have some openings in their team for Graduate Design Engineers.Our client is a world leader in hardware and embedded design tools and methodologies. Become part of a highly skilled team of engineers who are located across the world. This role will contribute to the creation of high-tech products by developing hardware and software IP (Intellectual Property) that is sought after by leading semiconductor manufacturers.
We are looking for talented people to work on new and emerging interface technologies. At present they work on technologies such as:
- Fast Ethernet (40G/100G)
- DDR4 memory interface
- Flash controller technology for the latest SSD drives
- Next-Gen PCIe interfaces
- Emerging non-volatile memory interfaces such as NVMe
- Mobile and Wireless protocols
Graduate Position Requirements
Graduates looking for a career in hardware should have academic / industrial experience in any of the following areas:
- Analytical approach to problem solving and electronics fundamentals.
- A structured approach circuit and subsystem design.
- Be able to demonstrate some RTL implementation skills.
- An understanding of HW implementation verification challenges.
- Some understanding of specific IP protocols, Ethernet, PCIe, HDMI etc..
However Graduates looking for a career in firmware / embedded software should have academic / industrial experience in any of the following areas:
- Microcontroller programming
- C programming
- Driver development
- Kernel hacking
- Shell scripting (Perl, Python)
