Scope of work
After a successful new project bid my client are rapidly hiring new staff to on board the project and prepare to launch it moving into the new year. As a result they are looking for a Senior level UI Developer to come on board and assist with leading the team.
You will:
- Act as a main point of contact for the project
- Maintain equal responsibility for the production of high quality code
- Act as a mentor for more Junior members of the team
- Be able to communicate effectively as part of a team
- Report into the Development manager
Essential skills:
- 5 years plus experience in commercial software Development
- Ability to bring a portfolio of work to interview
- Experience with Javascript MVC Frameworks (Ember / Angular preferable)
- CSS (LESS or SASS) to implement RWD
- REST, websockets and AJAX
- Experience with TDD
- Knowledge of Gradle/Grunt/Broccoli/Gulp
- Excellent knowledge one or more of the following SCM tools/practices required
