Description
The contract is with a consultancy in Brussels to be on assignment to a large European site as follows:-
The coaching programme must focus on pragmatic/concrete/operational/actionable actions and not on abstract strategic activities:
1. define and secure the concrete objective of the unit going SOA;
2. propose and maintain a roadmap directly actionable taking into account its SOA context at the start of the programme;
3. define the short term concrete actions, actionable by the unit, and plan them within the roadmap (such which policies/guidelines to develop) ensure that the on-going inception/elaboration activities of the different projects of the unit adopt common policies/guidelines and that future construction/deployment and operation activities are aligned;
4. evaluate the outcome of the actions performed by the unit and propose adjustment, fostering alignment with the roadmap;
5. Support the monthly life cycle of the roadmap and the short terms actions on a monthly basis for 12 months;
6. facilitate the SOA discussion in the unit and communicate the SOA transformation and its evolution to the staff of the unit.;
7. Address RfI from unit HoU and Sector Leaders;
8. Project management
Required experience
The contractor must have the following experience & expertise:
- Proven record of several successful SOA deployment in large accounts (private and/or government);
- Experience in SOA policies, architecture, governance, development and operation;
- Experience in Oracle SOA suite and OSS, knowledge of the market offering in SOA;
- Experience in facilitation, coaching, communication;
Experience in the financial impact of SOA on the application/service life cycle.
