The group are looking for a specific professional who understands financial products (Derivatives, Securities) exceptionally well. They are looking for a professional who is will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and analysis of market products and regulatory reporting. This role would suit someone who has a solid understanding of finance with the reporting ability of a financial accountant.
Role:
- Excellent Financial skills with an understanding of markets product accounting
- Provide assistance to Senior Financial Controller to ensure accuracy of numbers in balance sheet for reporting purposes and understanding drivers of the balance sheet
- Provide assistance in financial control issues to local finance and regional finance
- Financial Control activities including balance sheet and cash reconciliations and Compliance with group Policy requirements including BSO and accounting policies
- Assist in the preparation of financial reporting for the entity including liaison with auditors and coordination with Country Finance
- Be involved with ad-hoc financial accounting issues and drive resolution
Requirements:
- Strong product accounting knowledge
- Financial Control background and ability to drive controls
- Strong communication
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Degree in Financial accounting for a professional accountancy qualification.
