Funding Analyst - Data - Anaysis - SQL - SAS
An opportunity for a Funding analyst to join a retail bank in Edinburgh is opened due to natural expansion. This is an initial 6 month contract role paying £520 per day. Your role will be to develop and implement the secured funding data requirements for the bank.
You must have experience of secured funding.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with the Data and Business Intelligence team to maintain securitisation flags and database within the Bank's data warehouse
- Extract data in line with Bank of England requirements
- Run weekly and monthly reports
- Drive fact based Treasury management decisions.
- In collaboration with Finance, Risk, Operations and other relevant stakeholders, constructively challenge procedures, processes and controls for all aspects of secured funding administration.
- In collaboration with Finance, Risk, Operations and other relevant stakeholders, managing the data analysis and reporting of secured funding including well-defined and regular checkpoints with such stakeholders to ensure accuracy of outputs.
Skills, knowledge and experience:
- Higher qualification in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics or Finance or equivalent professional qualification or experience
- 3-5 years' experience in a data and/or analytical environment
- Programming experience in SAS and/or SQL
