Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst

Fire Engine RED is looking for a Contract Quality Assurance Analyst for the complete review and auditing of client & internal creative materials.  

Note: This is NOT a traditional software QA Analyst role, this is a QA role focused on copy.

We’re looking for an eagle-eyed perfectionist to help our team deliver an unrivaled user experience for our products and services.  

This role will include the review of:

• Marketing copy–Design files
• Electronic materials (emails, online applications, and online forms)
• Print pieces (letters, envelopes, brochures, self-mailers, and posters)   

This is a contract, telecommute position. Expect to work 40-45 hour weeks during normal business hours. The term for this assignment will run through April 2015 with a potential to be extended.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years experience in marketing, communication, or design production.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication/reporting skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Exceptional attention to details and deadlines, especially in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Great appreciation for end-user perception and experience.
• Basic knowledge of applicable software including Adobe Acrobat, Apple OS, Google Documents, and Microsoft Office products.
• Availability for weekend and/or night work as needed and scheduled.
• Ability to work on a remote basis.  

You will likely be required to take a QA test as part of our interview process.
