Synergy Consulting Group has a great, long term contract (multi-year) opportunity with a very stable, growing company in the Garyville, LA area.
The annual salary will be in the $60,000 - $75,000 range based on experience and skill set.
As a strong candidate, you should possess a strong sense of urgency with experience supporting Servers and production systems that are highly critical in nature. Also, you should understand the importance of teamwork and communication in a sensitive environment.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:

The Systems Administrator will be providing support for server and network infrastructure, operational and project needs, in a 24/7 Microsoft Windows Server environment.
Qualifications:

Perform server and network administration: Windows R2 server, SQL Server, Exchange, VMWare. High proficiency in Active Directory and Group Policy required.

Support and install server hardware and software to corporate standards and specifications.

Create and manage detailed documentation for systems and applications.

Follows strict communications & change control policy for systems outages, upgrades, and projects.

Manage projects relating to network and Servers pertaining to corporate growth, upgrades, retired systems, software implementations, hardware replacements.

Perform troubleshooting as required. Must be willing to work 24/7 on call rotation divided amongst team members.

Adheres to high sense of urgency by meeting tight SLA to customer. Strong sense of communication pertaining to systems status and team awareness.

Bachelor's Degree in IT related field of study or related experience.

Active Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card desired, but not required.
