Procurement Data Analyst - Data Analyst - Procurement Support - Data - Reporting - SAP - Excel - CIPs - IMMEDIATE START

Our well known digital broadcaster is looking for a Procurement Team Support Specialist with significant Data Analysis will be responsible for managing supplier spend data and reporting, supporting the setup of new vendors and data analysis, along with providing operational procurement support to the Category Managers. This is an urgent requirement with an immediate start.

Responsibilities

  • Owning and managing supplier spend reporting and ensuring data is manipulated and presented in the most appropriate format
  • Leading or supporting the sourcing process by co-ordinating and drafting specifications, selection criteria, questionnaires, contract schedules and RFX documentation to ensure that the most appropriate supplier selection is achieved in accordance with Policy guidelines
  • Leading or supporting commercial negotiations with the clear sponsorship of the business owner
  • Supporting the Procurement team in identifying new procurement opportunities through running reports, data analysis and engagement

Knowledge & Experience

  • The post holder will have a track record in applying procurement best practice and modern procurement methods to a diverse range of purchasing situations including the ability to provide effective and accurate analysis and reporting of relevant data
  • The post holder will know how to manipulate and present data to tell a story to the business and to identify opportunities for efficiencies
  • Proficiency in SAP (incl Business Warehouse), Excel, Word, PowerPoint and E Procurement tools
  • Analytics experience is required together with the necessary knowledge of business systems (preferably SAP) and other analysis software packages including MS Excel for example
  • The ideal candidate will either hold or be studying towards a CIPs qualification
