For our banking client in the heart of Zurich we are looking for a skilled and motivated
Oracle DBA with RAC and Data Guard (2503)

Our ideal candidate can start in February the latest and can see himself in this project for at least one year. We are looking for candidates with strong experience in Oracle Database Administration on Unix and Linux platforms (min. 7 years) and at least 3-5 years production support experience. Ideally we are looking for specialists with previous experience in supporting Oracle RAC and Data guard setup. You will have operational experience working with Oracle Releases 11g and working experience with tools and utilities such as RMAN and Grid Control. You speak fluent English, German is desirable. If you are a team player with a lot of drive, are able to work on multiple tasks and under a lot of pressure - you will be the ideal candidate for our team!

Skills:
Must have:
- Professional DBA skills
- work experience in Oracle 11g
- working experience in Unix/Linux
- usage and understanding of Grid Control / DB Monitoring
- usage of Data guard
- usage of RAC Clusters
- usage of RAM ( Restore/Backup)
- skills and experience in DB Tuning/Optimization
- ability to build and maintain customer relationship
- Good communication skills
Nice to have:
- experience in writing and maintaining documentation
- German skills
