A market leading semiconductor company is searching for an experienced Principal RF Characterisation Engineer to join their team. Lasting initially for 12 months the contract is expected to extend and could easily roll for several years.Earning 50/55 EUR per hour (depending on experience) this is a lucrative opportunity and great chance to work for a very successful company in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Work with design, product, quality and package & assembly engineers
- Develop new products in LDMOS & GaN
- Translate specification into test circuit used in production
- Actual testing of products developed
- Write test scripts, building & tuning the RF test circuits
- Analyse data including embedding/de-embedding & reporting the conclusions
- Driving force in adapting the characterisation & testing to the demands of the market
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
An important part of the work is guiding the transfer from lab measurements: complete exhaustive measuring to get the real performance of the device, to industrial testing: as fast as possible discriminate between good and failed devices. This approach is relatively new and steering and guiding this shift in test strategy will be an important part of the job. Hence personal communication and leadership skills are asked for.
Required skills:
- Experienced characterisation engineer
- Experience in building RF circuits
- Experienced with RF & Wireless communication techniques
