The client highly successful and growing Water Division has an exciting opportunity for a CAD technician to join its core design team in Cambridge.
Job Description:
This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and career whilst providing CAD/BIM support to our world-class team of engineers. You will be directly involved in the production of civil, mechanical and electrical outline and detailed design drawings, both in traditional 2D and increasingly in 3D and BIM environments. Your level of responsibility will develop commensurate with your experience.
Candidate Specification
- Competent CAD technician (civil and water experience desirable), capable of delivering quality CAD drawings to deadlines
- Commercial CAD/BIM design experience, with AutoCAD drawing and detailing skills to provide design input to drawing production
- Experience in 3D CAD is desirable, and a willingness to develop BIM, MicroStation and Revit skills is essential
- Ability/aptitude to provide civil/process/MEICA water, wastewater and network CAD drawings to a high standard
- Flexible to adopt appropriate drawing standards and protocols to suit project requirements
