Description
We are looking for a Financial Data Analyst for a 6 months contract in Duluth, GA.
Skills:
- College degree (Associates or Bachelor's) and/or experience/training in financial reporting.
- Strong attention to details.
- Ability to plan, prioritize and execute multiple concurrent activities
- The ability to manage processes within the organization and suggest improvements over time. Strong communication skills, both orally and written
- Must be able to work independently but under the guidance of multiple members of the organization
- Should be able to demonstrate PC proficiency in MS Excel, ability to pull data from outside systems, and manipulate according to the needs of the organization
- Experience with Oracle is highly desirable
- Experience with MS Access is a plus (solid understanding of database concepts)
- Demonstrate ability to learn varied corporate or industry software platforms
Responsibilities:
- Assist with month end close process
- Assisting region teams with data entry and updates to Quickbase tool
- Compiling/validating actuals from multiple sources
- Resolving issues/discrepancies between GL/billing logs
- Administration of tool (monthly updates)
- Reporting/analysis on data
- Assist with monthly outlook and quarterly forecasting
- Assisting region team members entering data into forecast tool
- Ensuring processes support the monthly cadence
- Running the standard reports and ensure errors are resolved
- Support of greater Global Business Operations team (Resource Management, PMO, Process & Documentation)
- Use of MS Excel to create standard reports and respond to ad hoc reports as requested
- Support the management of Global Business Operations processes and reporting to senior management. (Tool support)
