Description
The Inter-Company Accountant will be part of the team responsible for managing the inter-company process for North America.The team is responsible for enforcing guidelines, resolving issues that cause inter-company differences, performing the monthly close, and collecting past due inter-company receivables. The team collaborates continuously with affiliates as well as many other functions in North America. They are responsible for maintaining the KPIs associated with processes.
The individual in this role will:
.Be responsible for creating reports in support of the month end close.
.Become an expert level user of the Portal Develop and maintain a close working relationship with their counterparts around the world
.Coordinate monthly adjustments with General Accounting Perform general ledger analysis
.Be responsible for reporting monthly metrics
.Provide Ad Hoc reports
.Represent team on various projects
.Support Acquisitions as relates to the process
SKILLS:
Qualifications:
.Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
.Recent experience working with SAP, required
.AR/AP/GL Analysis required
.Excel is required - strong Pivot Tables Experience
.Highly effective at communication and collaboration
.Demonstrated high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Ability to create Macros a strong plus)
.Working knowledge of SAO
.Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
