Description
Responsibilities:- Manage requested work and time-frames, communicate back to the Lead Engineer any task that will not be completed in the requested time frame, and propose an alternate completion time.
- Bring to the attention of the Machine Controls Supervisor any conflicts in requested work that cannot be easily resolved through discussion with the requesting Engineers.
- Build, troubleshoot, and repair test hardware (harnesses, connectors, Switches, electrical/electronic components & systems, etc.)
- Troubleshoot electrical and/or electronic issues on machines.
- Install and remove test hardware on machines.
- Execute basic software tests on machines.
Required Skills:
- Excellent written & verbal communication ability.
- Electronic/electrical system design and testing information.
- Technology or Electronic Service Tools.
- Mobile equipment electrical wiring modification and repair instrumentation setup.
- Heavy Equipment Operation.
- Basic electronic testing using Digital Volt/Ohm Meters, Digital Oscilloscopes, and Function Generators.
- PC applications including Word and Excel.
- Expert level experience with electronic development software tools.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- Five to seven engineering experience required.
