Computer Futures is looking for a BI Developer to work for a market leading manufacturer. The successful applicant will provide support to existing systems, work with a team to develop new projects and provide BI expertise to other teams within IT.
Essential Skills:
- Solid experience on SQL Server BI projects. This role will not be suitable for developers with OLTP experience only
- Expertise in developing T-SQL on SQL Server 2008 R2/2012, including; database design, complex queries, procedures and functions
- Must be able to demonstrate high-quality, tested and commented code
- Proven expertise with SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
- Experience with OLAP Cubes
- Experience with data visualisation
- Understanding of basic database administration tasks & performance tuning
Advanced Excel - MS Project & Visio
DesirableSkills:
- SQL Server
- Experience using SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) for database design and maintenance
- Experience Tabular/PowerPivot
- Experience with PowerView and PowerQuery
- Microsoft SQL Qualifications
- Experience with visualisation tools such as Tableau, Microstrategy, Cognos, SAS or Business Objects
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
