Job Mission

As an Equipment/Manufacturing Engineer in the Laser on Droplet Development department you will be a key player in a very fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. Primarily you will be involved in the realization of one or more today being Laser systems. In this process you will be involved as expert on design for service and manufacturing topics and you will design and implement the maintenance and/or production process. During all these intermediate steps you will be cooperating with other disciplines and suppliers where it is expected that you will attend several meetings to discuss design aspects, analyze system problems, and support and plan issue resolution with peers. Your mission is to create and implement a service/manufacturing process for our customer support and manufacturing department to enable production, repair and periodic maintenance in most efficient way. This means you adapt the designs into serviceable and manufacture-able designs, you create work instructions, you train operators all over the world and you will hands-on support these operators when problems occur. You will be able to present your findings and your results to management. Finally you get the chance and you are encouraged to integrate with the dynamic and diverse community. And you will interact daily with 4,000 like-minded professionals. At the Laser on Droplet department, a little flexibility and commitment can go a long, long way.

Job Description

You will play a key role within a multidisciplinary team that delivers one or more Laser systems.

Main Responsibilities:
Field service. Be the expert in analysis of complex structural problems on your sub-module. Knowledge transfer to local service organizations. Be the knowledge link between development and operational sectors. Define spare parts and tooling and write the associated documentation for our global service organization New product design. Represent the field and factory organization and ensure its requirements are implemented in the design. Analyze product performance and define requirements for design improvement. Review technical documentation of the multidisciplinary development team. Create the service process (diagnostics, replacement, recovery) with ASML known means.

Education

Bachelor degree in one of the following: Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Optics/Physics, Computer Sciences or Mathematics.

Experience

From ~5 year relevant experience in a multi-disciplined team related to design and implement maintenance of complex systems. Knowledge of design for service is pro.
