Huxley Engineering is working with a multi successful Company and we are seeking a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer with a proven ability in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Heavy Engineering
- Machinery or moving parts/ mechanisms
The perfect candidate will have:
- 3D CAD skills
- SolidWorks
- Good Draughting skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
The role is very varied and projects could include upgrading/ replacing machinery within the company manufacturing plants. The role will involve a mixture of design from concept as well as modifying existing products.
The projects will involve:
- Design of bulk materials handling
- Mechanical handling
- Special purpose machine and build
- Hydraulic Power Packs
- Scissor Lifts
- Concrete Presses
- Strapping and Bagging Machinery
Before applying, do you have?
- BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering discipline or similar.
- Mechanical Design experience from concept through to commercialisation
- 2D/3D skills
- FEA & Stress analysis calculations
