Description
My client is a reknown telecommunication company looking for iOS developers to join a Mobile (native applications) and Java web applications development area for an initial 6 month contract in Launceston/Hobart.
The role will perform a key role as a senior developer within an agile feature team, contributing to the development and maintenance of mobile and web applications to further develop the existing mobile and web applications suite with new capabilities.
The role requires an incumbent with deep subject matter expertise in both native iOS mobile application and web application development domains as they will be required to work at a technical level with peer development groups, product managers, Device OEMs, Independent Software Vendors and Network Engineering.
Additionally, the incumbent will be charged with supporting multiple applications throughout the entire software development life cycle, including design, development, test support and production support/life cycle maintenance.
2+ years developing iOS mobile applications as part of, or leading a team of, delivery focussed IT professionals.
The ideal candidate will have had some or all of the following experience:
- Mobile application design, development and testing using native iOS and hybrid technologies.
- Automated Testing, Test Driven Development (TDD), Business Driven Development (BDD).
- Demonstrated Technical leadership at least at a project level.
- Experience working with Solution Design and Architecture teams
- Experience managing customer requirements and customer expectations
- Experience scheduling and estimating technical deliverables
- Experience working in both in-source and our-sourced delivery models
- Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall delivery models, with a preference to Agile (Scaled Agile Framework)
