About the role
Are you looking for a new challenge? In this hugely important and varied role, working within a small team, you will assist in the design and implementation of a life insurance industry data warehouse. This will involve, among other activities, developing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages using SQL Server 2012 to load and transform multiple flat files from heterogeneous sources into a time dimensioned de-normalized database structure. The warehouse will supply data for financial reporting, actuarial experience studies, cash flow modelling, investment monitoring and reinsurance reporting and analysis.
Rather than dealing with the usual frustrations associated with Legacy systems, you will be delivering technology solutions from the ground up, while benefiting from an excellent day rate and a dynamic working environment.
About the person
With a BA or BS in Math, Science, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, plus excellent written and verbal communications skills, you will have 5+ years of SQL Server and .NET development experience. This is particularly to include SQL Server Database Administration, T-SQL development, PowerShell Scripting and C#.NET application development. Some background in ASP.NET development is a plus as is exposure to the Microsoft Azure environment.
