Description

3/4 Year fixed term appointment with the potential to extend

Our technology allows our UK government-level customers to communicate and collaborate securely on a global scale. Our understanding of the security challenges faced by governments is unparalleled. So too is our ability to respond with innovative, world-class solutions. We work right at the cutting edge. We now need someone with the leadership, technological expertise and strategic outlook to keep us there - and take us further.

Leading from the front, you'll keep us one step ahead

At the head of a £50m business, you'll see that we remain able to meet our customers' ever-changing security challenges. You'll do this by defining a wide-ranging business plan that raises customer, financial and delivery performance across three core offerings:

- Projects and programmes - bidding for, and overseeing the delivery of, highly complex projects
- Live services - seeing that we continue to offer operationally-excellent 24/7 service and support to customers worldwide
- UK National Agency for Counter-Eavesdropping (NACE) - evolving our capability, and further strengthening our position as a key figure in the security arena.

As well as shaping the group's future, you'll be responsible for its delivery to customers. Based in the UK, and leading by example, you'll be involved in the end-to-end delivery of global projects in everything from secure infrastructure and virtualised environments to cyber security and end user devices.

Our secure technology is safe in your hands

A natural leader and an experienced technology professional, you're ready to take responsibility for the P&L, build strong customer relationships, shape our future growth and deliver results. You know how to make an impact at operational, strategic and executive levels. You have a broad base of cybersecurity experience too, and you're keen to apply it in a fascinating new arena.

And you're looking to test yourself

At FCO Services, we keep information, assets and people safe all around the world. Our customers, who include the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, look to us to respond with speed, agility and innovation to their most critical security challenges. The global reach of our work, and its sheer importance, will present you with a unique professional challenge - one that may well define your career.
