To support a customer project, we are looking for a Protocol SW Development Engineer for Radio Communication Performance Test Systems (m/f) matching the below stated requirements:


Job Description:
• Development of software components for Radio Communication Performance Testers
• Implementation and testing of Layer 3 signaling procedures for WCDMA, LTE and interRAT procedures
• Unit and integration/release testing
• Test system automation

Qualification:
• Master in communications engineering or equivalent course of studies
• In-depth experience in developing and maintaining complex software frameworks based on MS Visual Studio
• At least 4 years industrial strength experience in programming experience in C/C++
• Good understanding of best practice software engineering processes, e.g. version control, testing and release cycles.
• At least 4 years protocol knowledge for radio communication tester, in particular understanding of the WCDMA/LTE 3GPP standardization and relevant signaling specifications.
• Strong communication skill to work with the local R&D team as well as the team in in Munich, Germany
• Knowledge of the respective lower layers protocols (PHY, MAC) of LTE and WCDMA
• Experience in development or testing of IP related protocols in a cellular environment
• Customer on-site support and related travel activities might be necessary on request.


Location: Delhi/ India
