I am looking for an experienced SAP Test Manager to join a top bank based in Bristol. The role will require you to come on board and help them with a new finance transformation project.Responsibilities:
Developing and owning the project/workstream test strategy including the test approach per phase / per work package as required
Assisting in defining and implementing a best practice testing, defect tracking and issue resolution process
Delivering testing schedules, metrics and other report to the testing manager.
Liaison with vendors and integration partners, tracking delivery and fix status
Set up and administration of testing tools and environments
Review the quality of test plans
To ensure the testing phases are in line with the project plans/budgets.
Supervision of Test Analysts, co-ordinating all testing tasks with teams and vendors for a given project/workstream.
Requirements for the role:
Track Record of successful test management of large Finance Transformation Programmes
General Ledger and Financial Consolidation Tool test management experience
Experience of test management of Financial Restatement activities
Knowledge of SAP General Ledgers
Knowledge of Financial Consolidation Tools
Knowledge of interface and mapping processes
Insurance Finance accounting knowledge, where possible
Test Governance knowledge/delivery record
Track record of successfully facing off to multiple delivery partners
Qualified accountant, where possible
The right candidate will have proven experience performing these actions at a high level whilst working within an investment banking setting.
