Senior Business Analyst - Data Definition and Regulatory Reporting
A Senior Business Analyst with Data Definition and Regulatory Reporting experience is required to work on a six month contract for a Financial Services client based in Swindon, Wiltshire.
This is a great opportunity to work with a leading Financial Services client based in Swindon on a high profile project.
Overview of the Senior Business Analyst contract role:
- Presenting data in charts, graphs, tables, designing and developing relational databases for collecting data and includes building or designing data input or data collection screens.
- Working with a large number of stakeholders up to a senior level in a project environment.
- Review existing reporting solutions with a view to measuring maturity and identifying risks
Key skills required for the Senior Business Analyst
- Have a solid background within Business Analysis with a strong Data focus
- Worked predominantly within a financial services organisation and on Regulatory Reporting projects.
- Experience of importing, cleaning, transforming, validating or modelling data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision making purposes.
- Experience of writing Data Definition Language or Data Manipulation Language SQL commands, be responsible for improving data quality and for designing or presenting conclusions gained from analysing data using statistical tools like Excel, SAS, SPSS and others.
- Have a background in technology, information management, relational database design and development, business intelligence, data mining or statistics.
- Proven experience of data architecture and corporate Datamodelling for several large complex organisations. Experience of developing and implementing metadata and master data
- Experience of the full Information Management Lifecycle including data warehouse, data integration, data quality, and reporting and analytics
The role is based in Swindon this is commutable from Bristol, Bath, Cirencester, Reading, Cheltenham.
