Contract Project Manager (with Solvency II experience)

My client is a highly regarded niche player in the financial services sector who supply software to clients in the Insurance and Banking sectors. They currently have an urgent need for an experienced Contract Project Manager to drive the delivery of important client software implementation projects.
Insurance sector experience is essential as are excellent stakeholder management skills gained operating in a complex organisational setting.
Keys skills:
Balanced background covering both IT and business project management
Experience of managing software installation projects including the potential challenges of network deployment Project management experience in an insurance environment or financial software organisation serving insurers (experience related to Solvency II projects a must)
Experience in managing remote teams
The ability to actively oversee and manage all Functional Requirements, Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications, Test Plans and User Acceptance Testing for assigned projects
Understanding of technical concepts, development techniques, operating systems and database subsystems such as Oracle and SQL Server preferred
