ICT Service Desk Analyst, 1st Line Support, Active Directory, MS Windows, PC, Contract, London

I am currently recruiting for a Service Desk Analyst on behalf of a council based in London. This is a contract role that is an immediate start and be based initially on a month to month rolling contract.

The main purpose of this role is to work as part of a team and provide a central point of contact for staff and other stakeholders needing contact with IT. As part of a team you will provide professional and competent ICT support service and owning and resolving calls as appropriate.

Essential experience includes Service Desk Analysis, 1st/2nd Line Support, Citrix, Windows XP/7, Active Directory and Council/Local Authority or NHS

Desirable:

  • MCSE certification or equivalent technical qualification
  • Track record of educational achievement in IT related disciplines
  • ITIL Foundation certificate

Technical:

  • Experience in supporting at least 5 of the following:
  • Windows operating systems from WinXP to Windows 8
  • MS Windows 2008 R2 server/Active Directory
  • MS Office products from 2003 to 2010
  • Exchange 2010
  • Outlook 2010
  • Citrix Virtualisation
  • Mobile Devices

Please note that it is essential for candidates to have Local Authorities experience.
