Senior JAVA DEVELOPER - CONTRACT ROLE IN DUBLIN
I am currently recruiting for a Java developer position for one of my clients, a market leader in its sector.
You will be leading and mentoring fellow Engineers, communicating and documenting functional specifications and technical design to key project team members.
You will be in charge of the design and the writing of high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code. Successful candidates will also proactively organise, create and run regular sessions to impart best practices and provide insights on new, relevant technologies.
The client is looking for an expert in Java development, with experience/exposure to AWS or similar hosting services, NoSQL databases and related technologies. Successful candidates need a technical background to include experience of the following: Java, REST, JSON, JavaScript, AngularJS, Linux, Non-blocking Frameworks, Cassandra, Hadoop, Storm, Akka, Kafka and Agile Software Development methodologies (SCRUM, XP, etc.).
