My client, a Principal Contractor in the Power Transmission and Distribution sector is currently in the market for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a large offshore transmission project.This is a 6 month contract opportunity paying £37:50 per hour.
As Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for cash flow, maximising values and minimising future liabilities.
The Quantity Surveyors key duties will include but are not limited to:
- Timely agreement of monthly cost reports
- Management of financial information
- Procurement management and administration of sub-contractors
- Regular review of risk and opportunity registers
- Monitoring progress against contract program
We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven record of working on projects from £10 million to £100 million
- Experience with a range of different contracts
- High degree of commercial awareness
- Full clean driving license
- Experience on power transmission or offshore projects preferred
