Job Title: Income AccountantEmployer: NHS Acute Trust
Location: Home Counties
Rate: £200-£260 per day
Contract: 4-6 Months
Real Staffing are working in partnership with an NHS Acute Trust in the South East, who require a hands-on Income Accountant to provide all-round support to an understaffed area of the department.
This is an ideal opportunity for an Income Accountant who is looking to play a significant role in ensuring the Finance Team achieves its challenging monthly targets.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Handling income queries and disputes
- Monitoring the income of provider contracts
- Providing income variance analysis and interpretation
- Invoicing and billing of trust SLAs
- Month end closure of accounts
- Data manipulation through Excel pivot tables
- Creating income tables for board reports
- Generating SLAM financial reports
- Advising on financial implications of PbR changes
- Liaising with budget holders and management
- Assisting with Service Line Reporting
Essential skills:
- NHS experience
- Operate at AfC band 6/7
- Operated as an Income Accountant
- Strong system skills (Excel, Oracle)
