Solution Architect x 3 Warrington - 6 months

Solution Architects x 3 are required for a huge IT transformation project for an NHS client. You will be responsible for providing architecture expertise and direction for business system development programmes/projects playing a key role in contributing to development of Informatics Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Direction

Role purpose

• Contribute to development of Informatics Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Direction

Technical skills and experience

• Working knowledge of NHS business and clinical processes
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks particularly TOGAF
• knowledge of a wide range of information and data techniques and technologies
• knowledge of NHS business and clinical processes particularly around information management and reporting
• Problem management
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF)
• Operations
• Supplier management
• Systems analysis and design
• Process analysis and design

The role

• Manage and balance own time commitments to deliver against agreed targets and milestones on specified programmes/projects
• Understand the Informatics Strategy and Enterprise Architecture and identify how business requirements can be met within this blueprint
• Direct programme/project teams through architectural decisions and design process by articulating the options and portraying the implications
• Ensure programme/project architecture and design is appropriate, flexible, robust and future-proof
• Ensure solutions are fit for purpose and provide guidance and challenge to the business/programme team to ensure that proposed solutions adhere to the architecture blueprint and standards
• Interpret business operating models into system solutions, balancing requirements with design and architectural integrity
• Generate ideas for innovative use of new applications and maintain the "ideas pipeline"
• Work with Enterprise Architects to ensure Solution Architectures follow the strategy
