Description
For an Air Traffic Management client in Brussels, Eurocity is looking for a Project Manager. This is a long-term contract in Brussels, due to start in February 2015.
Task description and responsibilities:
- Understand project context and the overall business case
- Provide DR project management functions and effectively apply project management planning to ensure that the project is respecting all mandatory steps
- Ensure that the project deliverables are corresponding to the customer expectations and that the resources/budget constraints are respected
- Optimise project plans to respond to major changes
- Monitor project progress and take suitable controlling action;
- Control the quality of deliverables and outputs
- Manage the project resources
- Use the tooling in place and report regularly the project status to the Programme Coordinator
- Apply a risk management process competently to the project;
- Work effectively as a team member
Requirements:
Essential
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Fluent in both English or French
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven qualification in project management either by providing a certificate, either by providing the training schedule followed
- Ability to understand the technical and business requirements in the projects
Experience
- Proven outstanding project management experience
- Proven experience in maintaining quality control of all areas involved with a project
