Description
The role:
Our client is a small government agency with an immediate requirement for an SOA Developer within a busy and deadlines focussed environment.
The role will see you primarily responsible for the development of a suite of products to provide integration between different agency systems.
Technical requirements:
- Strong programming skills in SOA and J2EE/JEE technologies
- XML, XSLT& XSD for the transfer of information between systems.
- Web Services for communication between disparate systems.
- Oracle WebLogic Server 11g for SOA suite.
Personal attributes:
- Ability to undertake objective, systematic analysis and draw accurate conclusions based on the evidence.
- Proven ability to see projects through to completion, monitor project progress and adjust plans as required
- Proven capacity to actively listen to staff, colleagues and stakeholders
- Capacity to focus in a high pressure environment and show resilience to achieve objectives even in difficult circumstances.
- Well-developed verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to work as a member of a team

- Australian citizenship
- Baseline Security Clearance
