Operational Risk Accountancy MI Analyst, London
I currently have an experienced Operational Risk Accountancy MI Analyst to join the Operational Risk Team of my client, a Tier One Investment bank to work on a major project they are undertaking.
You will be involved in:
-Identifying appropriate metrics for use in project
-Developing risk methodology
-Establishing approach around appropriate use of metrics
-Mapping of metrics into risk categories
-Maintaining the metrics
-Ensuring Metrics STC forum works effectively
-Awareness of firm-wide Metrics initiatives
-Review and Oversight of Risk Thresholds
-Backtesting of Framework Set strategy
-Understanding and overseeing the implementation of changes to the Framework/approach
-Running Metrics STC and associated working groups
-Mgmt of metrics Reg deliverables/BOW
All Skills need to be CLEARLY VISIBLE within your CV/Application:
-Operational Risk Exposure would be preferential (but not mandatory), but some Risk experience would be mandatory.
-Familiarity with reporting of information and development of MI.
-Accountancy Background with control exposure
-Some experience in the risk of metrics or risk indicators.
-Technical/analytics skills
-Ability to work as part of the varied development team.
-Ability to deliver to deadlines
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks and provide realistic ETA's for deliverables
-Ability to understand technical issues and requirements and explain them to non-experts
-The ability to work with teams from other areas across the bank
