QA Engineer - Contract - Buckinghamshire

Key responsibilities:

  • Non Conformance Investigation and Reporting
  • Conducting Internal Quality System audits and addressing findings.
  • Facilitate and drive supplier performance improvements through root cause problem solving.
  • Vetting of new suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Audit of suppliers' Quality Management Systems.
  • Investigate quality issues and resolve - Needs to place disposition on affected parts ie. Scrap, Repair or Replace.
  • Maintenance of Approved Suppliers status in ERP system.
  • Liaison with External Authorities on Quality aspects and audits.
  • Preparation of monthly Management Reports and KPI's.

Skills/Experience:

Will have previous experience as a Quality Engineer with Electro Mechanical/Communications components.

Nice to have skills/experience:

  • Will ideally have knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, EASA Part 21 & 145
  • Be trained as an Auditor (IRCA Registered Lead Auditor/Auditor)
  • Ideally have experience of performing Quality Assurance in a Communications/Electro Mechanical environment.
