One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for an Oracle DBA.

Skills:
Database Administrator proficient in Oracle. Deep knowledge of PL/SQL.
Knowledge of other databases (SQL) and ETL frameworks (Data Stage, SSIS) is a plus.
Fluent English
Production Support - Database monitoring and tuning
- Keep an eye on the DB activity (IOs, contentions, temporary usage, space usage).
- Identify the potential issues and raise warnings.
- Investigate and fix the performance issues (via PTRs or CRs when changes are needed)
- Document actions done.
Production Support - Implementations
- Prepare the implementations scripts.
- Follow-up the records, fix the possible issues.
Production Support - Promote to Production (DB Evolution part of Growth or Projects)
- Create or modify the objects after technical validation
- Perform the simple schema changes both in Erwin and in the DB
- Prepare the scripts from the Erwin model
- Prepare and execute the scripts to promote the objects
- Ensure the quality of deliveries
Production Support - DB Maintenance and optimization
- Perform the changes/improvements both in Erwin and in the DB
Production Support PTR fixing
- Investigation on data issues found during ETL jobs or raised by BO/reports users
- Follow-up in case of technical issues
Production Support - Data Loads
- Archives retrieval and reload: under automation process, we plan to deliver the tool before end of year
- Reprocess support (data transfers, data backups, TR/PTR follow-up)
- Support to developers and testers (data transfers, specific data load, etc)
- Prepare all technical tasks required to implement these environment
Production Support - PL/SQL
- Perform technical analysis
- Develop the changes in PL/SQL
