We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious international telecommunications company, for an IP Backbone Expert - ALU 7750 to join their project in the exciting and vibrant city Istanbul.Position Title: IP Backbone Expert - ALU 7750

Responsibilities:
- Resolve Chronic Problems of the Network with an End to End approach and Resolve Technical Problems escalated from L2 Operations.
- Work with Internal Customers to meet their requirements, make recommendations for solutions,help project integration, and pioneer about new technologies.
- Perform technical audits to find out network defects/problems in a proactive way.
- Generate best-practices and a solution knowledge base,Transfer Information and Competence through presentation meetings and technical trainings.
- Work closely with all internal customers, play a supportive role to add a value.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Extensive hands-on experience implementation, troubleshooting and support of Alcatel 77xx Routers and Switches (together with Cisco will be a plus).This includes hands-on operation of management tools and network analyzers.
- Strong applied knowledge of layered network architectures, traffic engineering concepts, Ethernet switching and 802.1, QoS, security, monitoring and management systems.
- Strong Knowledge and experience with IP network standards: MPLS, carrier IP architecture, deployment and operations.
- Mandatory IP/Routing experience (OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS-TE, RSVP, LDP, IPv6, Routing Policy, L2/L3 VPN).
- Detailed technical/troubleshooting experience in the configuration and operation of IP MPLS Network routing/switching.
