JOB DESCRIPTION OFFSHORE INSTALLATION MANAGER/OIM
For our client's project - Duration 12 months, with an optional extension.
The platform manager/OIM has the authority and/responsibility to:
To make decisions with respect to safety for the crew, the Platform and the environment in all aspects.
The OIM shall on behalf of the Platform's owner or manager sign letters and documents necessary for executing the assignments and named above.
Prevent a potential accident from occurring.
Restrict the extent of existing damage.
Make sure that all works on board are according to safety regulations.
The OIM will carry out routine and regular inspections of the platform on cleanliness and hygiene, the condition of safety and operational equipment and personnel working practices and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 years' experience as Platform Manager/OIM on board platforms.
Good knowledge to handle English language, both written and verbal.
