For a consulting company in Dubai we are looking for two professionals able to consult a telecoms operator on on all aspects of LTE radio Network planning, designing, initial tuning, optimization and end to end solution for client's requirement.

Key Responsibilities

- Guiding the client team in designing all network interfaces as per the radio coverage and capacity requirements. The network interfaces include eNodeB, Microwave Transmission, IP Core network, PGW, HSS, PCRF, SGW, and VOIP. They should be able suggest RF Link budget parameters and impact of alteration of link budget parameters on cell edge throughput and cell radius.

- Network dimensioning based on coverage and capacity as per customer requirement, SINR, RSSI and throughput.

- Prove suitable suggestions in RF design regarding implementation of features link HARQ, MIMO, IRC, ICIC

- Interpret the design criteria and support the team in running prediction based models using planning tools, working to a site nominal plan

- Handle integration, initial tuning and optimizing of the network. Should be able to suggest parameters and settings as per the network requirement

- Designing Hetnet and SON Solutions

- Resolve critical customer issues related to network KPIs and performance

- Working with teams from both client and vendor

- Should be able to analyze LTE Layer 3 messages, UETR ( UE call trace ), CTR (Cell Trace ), call drop analysis, provide resolution to bad LTE KPIs, worst cell offender analysis, proficient with post processing tools such as TEMS Discovery, Actix etc., implement parameter changes and parameter audits,

- Support in converting functional details of new services, features and products into technical requirements.

- Expertise in creating test plans for system level, subsystem level and feature level testing

Candidate qualifications

- Preferably Master's Degree in Electronics/telecommunications engineering with at least 15 years of experience

- Should have relevant experience in the field of RF planning and optimization as well as end to end solution architect (should be well versed with both RF and IP). Should have performed design activities related to wireless communication systems including but not limited to GSM, CDMA, UMTS, and LTE

- Expertise on planning and optimization concepts

- Good Knowledge of CSFB/VoLTE call flows and detailed analysis

- In-depth knowledge of MT, MO, IFHO, IRAT call flows

- Familiarity with the tools like Atoll/TCPU/RNPT/Mentum Planet/Mapinfo/TEMS discovery/Gladiator/Actix

- Good experience for providing end to end networking solution and should have consulting and coaching skills for sharing knowledge.

- Multi Vendor exposure is a must

- Must have experience in greenfield LTE deployment, expansion and technology upgrade for customers in coordination with engineers
